As part of my #weeknotechallenge I have decided to challenge myself to doing a different style of weeknotes every week for a year.

I’m now on weeknote #52…

I DID IT!!!!!

So without further ado lets get on with the 52nd weeknote!

This week to celebrate completing my #weeknotechallenge and reaching number 52 i am merging lots of different formats as call-backs to previous weeknotes.

A little nostalgia trip down weeknote memory lane.

Lets see if you read any of the original weeknotes these ideas came from!

We’re Workshopping it

Who started creating a plan

To workshop with the team

And gather the themes

But at the moment their not his biggest fan

I’m working on it though :)

Stepping up

Something else that i have been doing this week is picking up some of the planning around services week.

I was very vocal for a while about not wanting to get involved in this because ( for anyone who read by 2022-notes) i wanted to take a side step and support some others to get involved with this sort of thing.

Due to illness and few others wanting to help i jumped in and helped with some of the initial planning and organising. I did have a debate as to whether i should help after saying i wouldn't multiple times but i just can’t not help as i felt it was the right thing to do.

My initial reaction to helping after saying i wouldn't was:

Then when i realised what needed to be done i was more like…

Things are starting to come together now and people are being chased or spoken to about sessions.

The whole week has been a little bit like this though.

The task:

As part of the wider work in my service we are doing a lot of work to see how we can come together and collaborate more efficiently.

Everyone was split into groups with different tasks, my group had this:

“Work with the group to make an initial deck of slides to use when engaging at the start of a project

You have 2 hours your time starts now.”

But what seemed like one of the easier tasks quickly become something more like…

“Work with the some of the group (because others are on leave or can’t make the meetings)

to make an initial deck of slides (make sure to keep it brief and concise but also include everything you will need to show at this stage which is a lot)

to use when engaging at the start of a project

You have 2 hours your time starts now.”

Through lots of talking and discussing we came to the conclusion that we shouldn't even be the ones who are doing this because we should be being user centred and asking the people who we will be engaging with what they want to know and be shown at the initial meeting.

So that is the plan for now... Task still ongoing.

FutureFest22

This week has also seen me preparing for FutureFest22 brainstorm on Monday. We are starting with initial ideas and planning a bit earlier then last year but are also throwing a wider net trying to get more involvement and hopefully buy in early on in the process.

Every year i suggest a DeLorean but Lisa always says no :(

I’m doing this one as a graphic, Does it count as a sketch notes if i do it on photoshop?

“If you are in a bad mood, go for a walk. If you are still in a bad mood, go for another walk.”

I am capping off the week with a walk (hoping the weather improves) which is a great way to end my last week of week noting (save your tears for the end).

I won’t preach about how good it is for wellbeing to go for walks and how you can get a lot of things off your chest and just let it float out into the fresh air but you get the idea… Go for a walk!

I'm sure everyone said they would buy me a drink for reaching 52 and completing the challenge so I'm holding them to that.

What do i do now?

Good question! I have reached the initial target for this challenge in little over a year since i started it.

When i first thought about doing this and published the first #weeknote challenge i was feeling a lot like

But now i have reached my target after all this time i feel a bit more like

Next week i am going to attempt to summarise all 52 weeknotes and talk about everything i have learnt and how i have improved and grown.

Hopefully encouraging others to start their own blogging or week noting journeys!

After that? Well, you will have to read next weeks to find out that…
